ABOUT

Madison began her training in the Northern Illinois suburbs in 2007 with a main focus in classical ballet. Under the mentorship of Braeden Barnes in 2016 she began her contemporary dance journey. Leading to her training as a work study at Visceral Dance Chicago. Now  graduating in May 2025 from The Boston Conservatory, she has had the privilege of studying a multitude of techniques, as well as exploring her choreographic voice.

While at the conservatory she has had the honor of performing works by Victor Quijada, Daniel Pelzig, Laila Franklin, Dan Wagoner, Norbert De La Cruz III, and Catherine Coury.

During breaks she has extended her studies with Complexions Ballet, Sidra Bell, NVA + Guest, Eisenhower Dance Detroit, and Symbiosis Arts.

Gathering all this knowledge as a moving artist has translated into Madison's work as a teacher and choreographer. Teaching since the age of 16, she is very passionate about cultivating a supportive and challenging learning environment for a wide range of ages and levels. Emphasizing stepping into the studio with an open mind and suspension of judgement. She has a somatic yet technical approach to movement. There is always exploration to be done! Her choreographic vision aims to explore real human experiences as well as abstract concepts.
